Dr. Lavelle is a board certified urologist who treats all areas of urologic disease in both men and women. He joins us after practicing in Portland for 14 years. He has special interest in stone disease, BPH, infertility/microsurgical vasectomy reversal, medical treatment of advanced prostate cancer and has had additional robotic surgical training with the daVinci surgical system.

Dr Lavelle did his undergraduate work at University of Washington with a degree in Biology. He graduated from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 1999. He completed his urology residency at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon in 2005. He spent 14 years in private practice in Portland where he was named a Portland Monthly Magazine “Top Doc” in urology in 2017. He served as Urology Section Chair at Good Samaritan Hospital from 2015-2018.

When not working Dr. Lavelle enjoys playing soccer, mountain biking, skiing and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
